55012 York 1976 Andy Sparks It’s the August school holidays during the long hot summer of ’76. A young Deltic fan stands enthralled as the driver of 55012 “Crepello” brings on the locos multi sensory Napier power whilst getting the 16.41 (14.00 ex Kings Cross) to Aberdeen underway after it’s York stop.
