12 - Finsbury Park TMD. 0D01 Finsbury Park - Doncaster (towing D9014). To Doncaster Works - Unclassified repair. No.1 power unit 444 to be examined for water leaks - No.2 bogie 9000-26 had No.5 wheel set changed.
13 - Doncaster Works.
14 - Released from Doncaster Works.
26 - 1xxx Newton Abbott - Edinburgh "car carrier" (from). Haymarket TMD.

1966 March

9 - To Doncaster Works - Unclassified repair. Boiler defects - No.2 end secondary fan shaft was replaced and boiler 1495/J2951 had burst pipes repaired. Released from Doncaster Works.
19 - 1A39 09:30 Glasgow Queen St. - King's Cross.
21 - 1st EE maintenance contract expires - mileage recorded at 827,055.
24 - 0D01 (Finsbury Park) - Doncaster (towed by D5677). To Doncaster Works - Light repair. Power units No.1 444 intermittent faults & No.2 445 had failed - 444 & 445 given Unclassified repairs, bogies No.1 9000-25 replaced by 9000-31 and No.2 9000-26 replaced by 9000-32 and boiler 1495/J2951 given an Unclassified repair. The body was given an Unclassified repair, all radiators and a defective
exhaust silencer were replaced.

1 - To Doncaster Works - Unclassified repair. No.2 power unit 430 exhaust silencer tank in roof split approximately 14 inches - unable to weld without preheating. Both exhaust silencers were replaced.
2 - Released from Doncaster Works.

1966 December

8 - To Doncaster Works - General repair. No shopping proposal - power units No.1 417 replaced by 445 & No.2 430 replaced by 457, bogies No.1 9000-31 & No.2 9000-32 were given Unclassified repairs and boiler 1495/J2951 replaced by 4093 (this
appears to be a trial fitting of a boiler not fitted to any other Deltic - see 02.08.67). The body was was given a General repair which included repairs to bodywork behind No.2 right-hand door and the application of full yellow ends (this was not stated in the official works report).
