Thanks to all who have offered to work on 55 022 at the Deltic Preservation Society depot at Barrow Hill and a special thanks to those who have helped out to date.

Due to restrictions placed by directors of DPS Commercial Services Ltd. we have decided not to persue this avenue further. This would have required each individual being approved by Simon Hartshorne for competance levels to satisfy Vehicle Acceptance Body standards and be certified medically fit. A site induction would be required and responsible person being on site for which the necesary manpower is unavailable.

We are assured by DPS Comercial Services Ltd. that this is based on competance and health and safety grounds and is in no way personal.

Work continues on site, the bodywork repairs are now very much in their final stages and fitment of OTMR has begun. Additionally component parts continue to be worked on at Beaver Sports's premises in Huddersfield.
